Dhruv Rathee speaks lies about Ch. Shivaji Maharaj
Its surprising to see glassdoor laying off 300 odd people due to #COVID-19 It means Glassdoor is not posting new jobs so they are under loss and hence laid off their employees? That means currently not much new jobs being posted by companies, so no much hiring happening? What's your taught on this ? #severance #layoff #coronavirus #covid-19
Any worse than Yelp or TripAdvisor?
There are more than 300 people working at Glassdoor? Like...how hard is it to scale a mostly plaintext website?
You’re very clueless about the jobs and recruiting market if you think that’s how GD makes money 🙄 Why does facebook need so many employees? How hard is it to scale a site where you mostly just upload photos and post basic status updates
You fail to recognize FB is also in hardware business and actually contributes a lot to research and open source, very unlike Glassdoor
Did anyone write review of Glassdoor on Glassdoor?
Tons. Just wait til mine goes up

Glassdoor is outdated at this point. Their salary info is not very accurate and has been overtaken by other platforms. Job postings there are many options such as LinkedIn, indeed etc. Only saving grace is company reviews - prob not enough to sustain business.
Due to covid, we suffered a huge drop in revenue. Most cuts are in sales, recruiting, marketing and IT support, Product and engineering are not affected. The ceo said they made cuts assuming things won’t get better till end of year.
You are all correct. Traffic for job seekers has declined. Less firms hiring as well. That is most likely temporary. More layoffs possible if the economy is slow to recover and most companies are being very cost conscious.
Your assessments are correct. Like many other companies, sales took a huge hit. There’s more to it from an operations standpoint, but I won’t go into much more detail.
They’re owned by the same company, and both were hurting a lot this year. A lot of the sales were redundant and indeed is in a great position to absorb a lot of Glassdoor’s branding products and scale it. Glassdoor as a tiny firm compared to them was trying to scale, and often against indeed. This economy sped up the inevitable if you ask me. Glassdoor should be indeeds branding/data arm. You’ll have quite the compelling platform imo
Do you search job on Glassdoor? Really?
I just go there to post positive reviews as "encouraged" by the company.
I pretty much go there to laugh at the positive reviews written by the HR on consecutive days, especially the one which say " no cons or growing out of current workspace but we are sure that we will find a better place soon"
