Desi question: guys, do accept friend request on fb/insta from women you just connected with on matrimonial websites?
Some desi chicks are crazy (have encountered 7 such girls). They'll send friend requests on fb/insta after connecting. Then will get angry if you say let's start with whatsapp. I mean +1 to them for taking the initiative. But a whatsapp or fb messager connect is much better. Then when it doesn't work out, no need to go through the teenage phase of unfriending and blocking. I usually do it this way, when I'm taking the initiative. Other desi folks, what has your experience been like? And am I being too paranoid by not connecting on fb/insta? PS: I understand she may want to view my pics on insta or something, so my profile is not private.
People do this all the time. Guys, girls both. They will ultimately want to friend / follow you to be able to stalk you and lookout for red flags. The timing of it varies. Yes I find it creepy too when someone does that to me just coz interest is accepted and you barely know each other. Down the line, it’s okay.

What do you mean make sure it's clean? If I take pics while doing coke or banging strippers, I certainly won't post it on FB. I honestly can't figure out comments around stalking and making sure it's clean. Maybe I'm missing something.

cool. In short validation from their friends to see if they think it's the right person. It's better tp stay clear of such girls. Anyone whose been in a relationship can tell outside interference causes more problems. But hey - my friends should approve my future SO.
This is weird. From my past failed relationship, I learned that friends' opinions of a person I am dating can be valuable (not by fb profile though).

It's funny. Why would someone get angry if you ping her on WhatsApp, unless you are sending unsolicited nudes or creepy messages
Yup, I accept the connection requests from the chick and her whole extended family, so they can “explore” me.
If you refuse to accept the request, you are hiding something. They want to stalk you not to see ur pictures. If you are a person with no fb/ig then you are boring/hidingsomething
