Is Samsung a good place for designers? I got a take home challenge from their Think Tank team for a UXD Internship. Would love to learn a little more about the company and their design side as a whole before dedicating a few days to their take home challenge. TC: $36/hr #samsung #design #interviews
I knew someone who did a UXR internship with them and loved it. Can't speak to it much more than that. But it's a good name to have on your resume, if it's worth risking having a bad experience for a couple of months.
They recently reach out to me for a senior leadership role, what a shitshow. Worst design recruiter i've met in awhile - trash talking about the company, slow on response , not giving basic info about the role... From what i'm reading they don't pay industry standards but their bonus system can be very lucrative. most strategic decisions happen in HQ and they have a surprisingly messy culture.
“They gave me a take home challenge” That’s your answer right there.
Nah. They treat u like design monkeys, slaves, and pay u like 50k per year
