I would love to hear the experience of people who were put on dev-plan and managed to get rid off Amazon with a job offer and also could you answer If you continued performing in the sprints or you just focused on the job hunt? #severance #layoff #pip #amazon

Got put on a dev plan. Got it extended for 10 months. Used all 10 of those months to leetcode and find a new offer

Try to extend dev plan: Ask questions in writing. Show evidence you are working Focus on job hunt
This is bad advice. If they’re in FOCUS (Dev plan is out of date term) there is a set timeline for it to be executed. Although possible it’s improbable you’ll be successful in extending it. A manager doesn’t want to deal with it any longer than they have to.
