I recently got an interview opportunity from Woven by Toyota. How is the growth at this company as devops engineer? What is the overall interview process looks like? Any tips to remember at the time of preparation/interview? Thanks!#software #devops
Depends where you are. If you’re in US go for it assuming TC is up to your expectation. If you are in Japan then turn around and run never look back
Run. Us teams are the footman of Japanese teams. You will be doing low level work and zero skill growth. To achieve anything you need to convince many people and teams, joining late evening meetings to explain to japan what you are looking to accomplish before you are approved to do any implementation. Beware of the TC package. No bonuses and high levels of attrition. It is likely that you will be shifting priorities constantly. You've been warned.
No bonuses? Huh?
Only go if you are in the US. I have a different experience, no attrition, great bonus and great wlb. Not in Arene org.
Arene is a hell hole. Autonomy side is great because at least they have competent leadership.
City is the place to be. You are right
What about software production line (SPL) team? Do you know it is ok?
Good WLB, Comp is up there for both US/JP, but you need to be ex-faang when apply. All teams are equally bad. No need to fight for greatness, the only -ness we are doing here is ass licking at all levels. Also the higher the level the less work you need to do. Biggest perk is internal blind community.

Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
From what I hear, WLOB is great but in terms of skill growth it’s non existent and you run the risk of atrophy.
