Which post? Where? When? Why?
Dropped a cease and desist in the DMs?
What happened?
No idea I didn’t see it
Stripe reneged on an offer because they can’t budget correctly. And/or they ran into financing issues
what the fuck
Could you elaborate pls?
A lot of seemingly innocuous posts are disappearing after a day or two. Wonder what's going on
Easy for those top executives who sit on a chair, scroll down through Blind and then end up backtracking individuals "defaming" the organization. No wonder, executives are unhappy with people now asking for correct pay by evaluating offer on Blind.
Blind is colluding with big tech
I thought the whole point of blind is anonymity. How did stripe find out the real identity of the dude to threat him?
Maybe like some executive saw the post while scrolling down Blind. Called up the global recruiter lead to list out him candidates whose offer were recently reneged. TADAA!! Caught the potential poster. Now DM the guy, and "settle" the issue.
Mmm... If they spent so much effort on hunting down one person, maybe they should spend the effort else where.
What happened
A guy had given notice to his manager. Then at the last minute, stripe reneged on the offer because of funding issues. This guy was looking for his options. Maybe he was not supposed to reveal that it was stripe.
the guy obviously didn't end up working for stripe. I wonder what stripe has to threaten on him? Just some lawyers to write a letter?
Guess it was under NDA
They’ve raised $785M in funding, how are there financing issues?
Yes
