Did you know Google gives $400 to employees to donate to a nonprofit of their choosing?

Pretty cool perk if you ask me. For those who work at a Google and haven’t allocated their $400 holiday giving grant, consider giving it to *Close the Gap Foundation*, a local Bay Area nonprofit helping First Gen low income high school students be set up for fulfilling lives by pairing them with industry mentors and provided tailored workshops with valuable life skills. Look us up by name or EIN 83-1242219 http://closethegapfoundation.org/

They used to give employees $1000 cash to do whatever they wanted to. You could donate it to any charity, not just Google approved ones.

Also, Microsoft matches 100% of donations, up to like $15,000 a year. The org has to be one of the approved ones, but it's possible to get an org added to list
