Why do Indians support Israel so much( on blind surprisingly) when Israel really thinks 💩of them ?
Recently finished internship at Google. 4.00 gpa in cs masters program from top 15 school, and I had an fb referral from an fb intern I met in the bay area. I was initially contacted by the recruiter in July but she just emailed me saying they're not moving forward with my application. Anyone know why? If anyone can give me feedback I'd be glad to share my resume.
I heard FB has a hiring freeze for lower levels.
Top 15 schools isn't good enough. We want top 3.
Any chance I could get a serious answer? Please?
Headcount - most of it is filled from interns unfortunately. I wouldn't read too much into the rejection.
Dont over think it, might be a timing issue
Probably hiring freeze. I think most e3 hiring is from interns.
They talked to their google recruiter buddy on why you didn’t get a return offer.
Who said I didn't get one? How else do you pump up comp without competing offers?
Because people with a landing spot wouldn’t feel so much angst about being rejected.
It’s not you.. it’s them. They just don’t have the headcount. Don’t make this about yourself and move on. You can always get a competing offer from other companies.
There’s an E3 E4 hiring freeze. I also can’t internally transfer at my level into SWE because of this
Lol. Google is going to lowball the hell out of all of us new grads now. Any suggestions for companies that can match google/fb?
Uber LinkedIn lyft Airbnb
hi op are you on student visa?
No. I am a US citizen
that's really strange.
Fb fills e3 headcount with return interns most years
not last year. last summer my friend with expedia internship got onsite very early.
Yea - majority is filled. There is always very small space for new grads
I wouldn't sweat it. Just got my rejection too and I have big tech companies on my resume and a referral. Would be great if someone from fb could explain but I'm guessing it's a e3 hiring freeze or low hc.
