For senior mobile engineer positions at companies like Amazon and Microsoft: - Is the interview process different for mobile (Android / iOS) positions as compared to backend positions? - Is the focus is still majorly on Data Structure, Algorithms, System Design (like the examples in Grokking the System Design Interview course [1])? - Like most other companies, is there an Android/iOS specific round for testing platform specific knowledge and experience? As a part of that does the candidate code an iOS/Android App in the interview, given an API endpoint or something similar? P.S: I'm assuming the process is similar whether the position is in Canada or US, but I was referring more to Canadian positions.
