I see number of people getting into FAANG or big brand companies after going to USA. Same people here in India are sometimes struggling to get into good companies. Is it somwthing I have noticed or anyone else also feels the same? Is the level of difficulty of interviews in USA lower than India? #tech #amazon #faang #usaa
Yes, You are right. Two of my friends who were working in India. One of them was working in Info edge and another was working in HCL They both completed MS from US last year and one of them is working in Google US and another one is in snowflake
Usa - more job openings in USA companies India - fewer job openings in us companies Usa - smaller population, balanced career interest India - massive population, disproportionate interest for engineering

The interview format and questions are exactly the same in both the US and India/China but the threshold for passing the interviews is lower in the US. So you could say that it’s “easier to get in”. The reason for this is simply due to the supply-demand imbalance. There are a lot more engineering graduates in India/China who are attempting to get into the top companies and there are also a lot less job openings compared to the US.
