Screw it. Don't care anymore. Let Israel take it. One state solution.
Hi All, Fidelity Investment has offered me the position of Director, Data Analytics (IC). I've worked in Data Analytics for close to eighteen years. Experienced friends, Please specify a base salary and compensation package worthy of consideration. Thank you in advance for your time and advice🙏. #dataanalytics #finance #techcareer
Director but IC? How does that work. If it’s equivalently to senior DS (IC) then 300k+, principal IC/manager, 350k-400k+, senior manager (managing managers) 400-450k+
Most probably same as what you are getting now
Depending on industry, company, department, etc, some places hand out titles like candy, thus the idea of an IC Director (who the heck would you be directing?). In other places, a director is an actual director, like one step outside the senior leadership team. Assuming the same #exposure worth of the Director title, I second freeyolo's broad estimate of pay in the DS space at "good" companies. Like companies that care about doing DS or any real tech right. For your generic industry and consulting co's, those numbers are half as much.
L7 is btw 150k to 170k base.
Internal employees get 147 to 150 k (yoe 7 to 18) after promotion, while external hires are asking for 165 to 170k (yoe 6 to 12).
250k TC possible with more component into 401 as opposed to cash bonus / with no rsu being private company
What were the numbers in your offer? / Did you end up accepting, and if not why?
Current TC?
175K- 180K base with 20% yearly bonus (excluding other perks)
Sh8t. That's entry level pay at FAANG. How come telecom companies worth hundreds of billions of dollar pay so little? You're absolutely right to jump ship.
