Disappearing Insta Highlights - bug / help

Metamates - my story highlights on Instagram suddenly disappeared. This has happened twice this week. The first time, I just fiddled with the app and they came back. Not this time. My settings / archive settings are fine and I’ve tried trouble shooting basis info on YT. I can see other people’s story highlights. How do I fix this? Is there a bug? This is really irritating as I spent a lot of time compiling my highlights. Also this happens when I update my profile write up / name on Insta. I’m on iOS.
