Interviewed with Uber for senior role. Coded optimal executable solution. Interviewer was happy, and told me best of luck for rest of the interview. Following day I get a rejection email. Dejected. Folks work hard to crack interviews, and even after having a fully functional solution if they reject its disappointing. #tech #uber #interview Tc: 240k, 5yeo
Sorry about it Op. Did you finish codility before phone screen?
Could rejection be somehow related to visa status h1 ?
Not sure.. They knew from the beginning during recruiter screening
Same thing happened to me or at least in my opinion last week with Uber also. Design round I felt was one of my best performances ever! Oh well, better things around the corner!
Thank you.. Yeah better things around the corner.. Good luck :)
I had a similar experience at Square recently. It happens. Just move on to the next one. A lot of it is luck.
Pretty common these days, just use it as a practice.
Dude, Uber is gonna go down.. go for doordash
Thanks interviewing with them :)

They do
Contact your interviewer directly and ask wtf
Haha :) yeah wish I could
Maybe you did bad in a behavioral component
Hmm..i doubt it..we got off in the right foot after the interview..but who knows perceptions can be different

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
You never know, the role might have gotten backfilled by the time you did the interview
Possible..but they could have referred for another role you know
Uber is terrible about that kind of thing, hasn't changed since I first interviewed 3 years ago
