1. My email was easily changed to the hackers email 2. The call representative couldn’t change it back and had to wait in line to get in touch with their manager 3. The rep didn’t even really verify me (name, email, and last four of card on file. The hacker literally have access to these by now) 4. For some reason the system didn’t allow the rep to change back to my old email and needs a new one

Your old email address is considered compromised, if the hacker got your Disney+ password they probably can log into a lot more since few people exercise good password management. The new email is for your protection as that email is linked to all Disney products (parks, marvel, espn, Hulu, etc). Furthermore if you enable 2FA and they have access to your email they also can just get the code. 2FA everything, don’t click on links you don’t recognize, and NEVER do Facebook quizzes.
Is there 2FA for Disney+?
They piloted one a year ago with the DVC app but it looks like it is paused right now, no clue why? In general always a best practice whenever it’s available. I personally opt for a text since hacking into gmail is typically how this starts (happened to my in-laws 🤦♀️).
