Bro wtf, layoffs are becoming so normal these days
Just getting started
Called a recession. Perhaps it’s a depression
So do people here actually try opening these kinds of links?
Nope, not taking chances
Luckily it was to Bloomberg but right after I clicked it I was like oh shit

Hmmmm fake news
Disney needs to focus on their business not getting into pissing matches with DeSantis. It’s distracting.
Fuck Desantis tho
He’s fucking y’all though that’s for sure.
How is unemployment at one of the all time lows? We've had non-tech adjacent companies doing mass layoffs like David's bridal, disney, EY etc. I'm so confused.
Because still service sector and manufacturing are strong May be eventually with layoffs in retail that may change. However a couple thousand in cuts from David bridal wouldn’t change that overnight considering there is mill worker shortage.
Cos Biden wants you to believe it
This isn't another layoff, it's the same one that was announced before
This is round 2. Round 3 is still coming. We think it's next month, but no one knows for sure. Management isn't big on the whole communication thing at Disney.

I am Columbia alumni
Disney was doing layoffs and even outsourcing way before it was cool.
I met a guy in a Starbucks in Orlando in, I want to say, 2016? He had just been laid off from Disney and was complaining that they basically gutted the entire place and outsourced nearly everything. He was reading an iOS book and going to work on his own apps. If you’re reading this, hope you made it Asian iOS Disney Man.
Yeah that was me. I'm hanging in there. I sort the mail for BBG now.
