Disney offer: good or bad for Disney?

I was offered 100k salary, 20k ltip, .5 cent on the dollar 401k match to work in Seattle at Disney. I have 1.5 years experience as a full stack data engineer and took the offer. Is this a fair offer?

LTIP is long term incentive plan. generally restricted stock units that are granted but vest 25% per year over 4 years.

Yea that’s fair. They don’t pay much for tech talent. Leads on my team range from 117-130.

I'm a contractor for Disney. My experience has varied wildly between departments. Some teams are wildly mismanaged, some are great. Best of luck to you!

This. Biggest problem so far from what I have seen.

You're more than likely making 15-35% more than an internal company transfer would make. If it's worth it depends on your previous comps. Seems like it's on par with your experience and location. 401k options are pretty decent. Lots of good mutual funds to pick from. Only match 4% though.

I've seen better in Seattle given the rising cost of living there

Make them sign something that if you have to train your H1B replacement, they'll give you a 100K. ✅

How do you know that he is a citizen or green card holder? He could be on H1-B some other visa
