What do you guys think of Disney stock at the moment? The stock has been almost untouched by the wave of optimism in the market currently. The company has a history of performing and making well-thought out decisions. With Marvel and Star Wars franchise mania and their own in-house production fan following along with boost in Disney Parksβ attendance (and a new one opening), it looks like they are firing on all cylinders. Not to mention Disney+ taking the fight to Netflix. Would you Buy, Sell, Hold?
Buy it inside VTSAX
The risk is cord cutting. Disney+ won't be profitable until 2024, and pay TV may lose another 20-30M users by then.
I think it becomes profitable before that. However many businessses to drag its profits down. ESPN, etc. Marvel universe ending
Did it move after endgame? Did it move when they announced starwars land? Did it move when they bought fox? Did it move when they announced streaming? It's a good stable stock that pays devidends, you won't get lucky with it like you would had you bought amazon at $150
