Divorce + Criminal Lawyer
any divorce lawyer referral who is good with family and criminal law... i am waiting on our divorce but my wife has filed false domestic violence case. though i am not guilty until proven but still i want to have lawyer on my side. my current lawyer doesnt seem to be of much help. is it normal for lawyer not to share their phone number ? my lawyer only communicates over email or she will call me from blocked number between 10am to 5pm... after that there is no response or help. what should i do ? location: Bay area

What state? No, it isn’t normal for an attorney to block client calls. There must be more to the story.
She is not blocking my calls but she calls me always from No Caller ID... is it normal ? And she says she is always available on email from 10-5pm
No caller ID is fine, some attorneys block their number so someone else can’t see that they called. Doctors offices often do this too. Available via email makes sense too. She’s got other clients and cases. Attorneys don’t want to be interrupted by random client calls that could have been handled via email or set up in advance.

You definitely need a new lawyer, immediately. And a great family lawyer won't be a great criminal lawyer, and vice versa. Edit: nevermind. With additional details provided I'd say the lawyer needs a new client.

Yes, that is not normal. You should at least have an office number and an answering service number.

You probably need a separate criminal lawyer and divorce lawyer. You are unlikely to find someone experienced in both.
