I am Korean and we usually go crazy for looks and perceptions (Instagram and stuff) In Korea, you get bullied in high schools if you don’t use IPhones when Korea is where Samsung was born. So people worship Apple + love employees who work at Apple too. Do employees love the office as well? It is beautiful and probably a good conversation opener with Korean girls. Wanted to know how employees love the office and RTO in general because of how beautiful it is
"In Korea you get bullied in high schools if you don't use iPhones". I mean what?! So far from what I've heard of Korea, it seems like a pretty backward place from a mindset point of view.
Tim Apple would tell the kids getting bullied that if they don't want to get bullied they should get an iPhone. And if their parents won't get them an iPhone, they should steal the money from them. And if their parents don't have the money, they should put themselves up for adoption to try to get richer parents.
this is exactly what happens in America too though 💀 Is America backwards as well then?
Yes it is the best
Don't know about Apple employees but most of the non Apple employees do think it's a cool looking office.
I didn’t love it. Small desks, crowded open office, and some sections of AP had rat issues. That said, it’s way better than the average apple office. Honestly I would rather take almost any google office over AP.
I used to be at Apple. I loved that office. I think it's the coolest office I have come across so far.
The office is "a good conversation opener with Korean girls"? How does that work? You show pictures of it to girls at the coffee shop?
It’s a pretty nice office, but it’s not something I would base my identity on. It’s just a place of work at the end of the day.
Honestly, the throngs of Korean girls trying to get in is probably the worst part. It can be hard to make it to my desk on time with so many of them in my way between the parking lot and the door.
throngs or thongs?
Actually most Apple employees don’t work out of the spaceship.

Yeah, apple employees tend to be 100% in the kool aid with regards to anything apple related so they absolutely do.
Entire orgs exist outside of Apple Park, I’ve never even set foot inside it. The office I work in sucks. It literally the worst office space I’ve ever dealt with in my long career.
Well, the WiFi sucks, they don’t even use all the WiFi features of their own MBPs. The WiFi folk don’t seem to know what they are doing and only enable 20MHz channels. For me it’s therefore way slower than my home WiFi / internet. They tell people to wire in and can’t even deliver 1/4th of available WiFi performance of their own products in their own office. Which, when you’re working with big files and data, matter.
