Say you're a Google engineer, if you interview at Facebook would you either get easier questions or be given more benefit of the doubt for mistakes cause you've already proven yourself? Or do you guys have to grind algo questions like the rest of us plebs when switching jobs?
Yep
Same question as everyone else. No one gives a shit where you come from.
Same questions and same level. Unless you came from Albertsons, in which case we bypass the interview and directly give an offer. /s
What’s Albertsons
Easier to get interviews but that’s about it
If I'm interviewing someone from Albertsons I'll pass them and ask them for a referral

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Is Compass that shitty? I got interviews from most of the Big N and trading firms and no callback from Compass. I assumed they were riding on unicornish hype or something lol Also no to your question
What's your yoe? We were only hiring senior engineers for a while cause we fulfilled all our entry to mid headcount. Not sure if that's still the case
I guess that explains it. I was a new grad. Granted I also came from a shitty school and probably lucked into most of my interviews :3
