I stayed at Snap for a few years and my friends on snapchat are all colleagues.
Yes. To constantly test out our product and come up with creative ideas.
No because no one uses snapchat anymore lol
Depends on the person. I don't
Were you asked - why do you want to work at snap in the interview? How should one answer this question if they haven't used the product?
Yup I was. Just because we don't use the product doesn't mean you can't be passionate to work on the product. You can still relate to our underlying mission
Yes. 42% of employees to be precise.
I use it with my close friends. Sending funny pictures to friends. I use it only with a few people. The other platforms donโt compare to the filters, speed of sending, and ephemeral aspect. Instagram is okay for this, but chatting is not the main focus. Snap opens direct to the camera. Iโm not a fan of Snaps chat UI, so mainly stick to images only.
Are people still using Snap? All I hear about is TT and Insta
Over 260M users and 5 billion snaps daily according to last earnings. So yup
Lmao this ^. People love making uniformed statements without having any touch with reality. I love seeing replies with real stats. ๐๐ฏ๐ฅ
Younger ones yes. My real world friends are too old. I should do a better job of promoting it though, I think Snapchat is fun and cool.
All parents use it for the filters with their kids.
Our team chatting a lot in Snap. Also use stories feature, watch some shows about games/movies an political shit. Never used before joining, most of the content rather too trashy or for teens and I'm 37 lol
Same question to ByteDance employees too! Very interested in knowing if you are a 40+ years old employee using snapchat or tiktok
