No. It's a perfectly fair world.
Exactly the answer OP needs!
Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
One of my very good friend got laid off too from synopsis, how big was the layoff?
Wow 10% synopsys.. any more details?
Its all over the place .. but i didnt know its 10% ..
No they don’t they don’t wanna be sued
Answer this question - Is setting diversity goals a discrimination or not?
If the goal is 100% white males is that discrimination?
Common. Diversity is more important than competence
Of course they do! Managers, directors and vp are graded on the percentage of women and of diverse people they have!!
Yup. I’ve seen it several times. Women are kept or immediately re-hired to a new position. Better litigation wise to sack more better performing yet underpaid men than fewer overpaid mediocre women. Keeps them from getting sued.
Is there actually any evidence for this? Sounds like some random anecdotes and potential confirmation bias.
It's the opposite here, women are easily laidoff, as there is no one to back them. Also, it's a sentiment that if they can save the primary bread winner of a family, they should prefer that instead of saving the secondary bread winner of another family.
