Does company like Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc record phone interview?
Why don't you record lmao
They dont. However, companies like amazon keep detailed feedback about your interviews. So suppose you screw up and then apply later again, they already know you screwed up before and have the exact reasons why you did. Not that they are not willing to give you chances based on your past screw ups, but thats there and will be part of your history with Amazon!
Doesn't every company do this (keep feedback from previous interviews)?
I dont think thats true for Apple.
Overhead...what to do with the recorded call? No one has time to listen it again....
But machine learning or clustering algorithms can. They can associate future behaviors or performances using that data if they want to
If they recorded they legally would have to inform you and ask for your consent
No. In California it’s illegal to record anything without consent. Before we record anything we ask everyone in the room or phone if it’s okay to be on the safe side.
Not at Google
