Do they do stack ranking at Visa or American Express?
I’m not a fan of stack rankings and forced attrition. How is performance management done? How often is it done?

How is C1? How are the stack rankings , are they brutal? I was considering a move to there from amex lol.
Not at Amex. They might PIP you if you're under performing but there's no URA quota. There's stack rank for meets rating and above but there's no PIP target. Is a team decision. To be fair you need to be seriously fucking things up to be PIPd at Amex. Bare minimum guarantees meets and of course you'll be first in line for reorgs or layoffs but if your team is safe you can coast and as long as you do bare minimum Expectations vary team by team though. There are good teams that won't let people coast and will PIP, there are others whose leaders also are bad and prefer to have high HC to justify their salaries even if no one do shit that adds value
