I was laid off in Jan end from Workday, find it very very hard to get interview calls for internal roles, seems they check with my previous manager before even they call. The process of interviews is the same as external! I got rejected after the second technical screen, because I used string to store coordinates for the problem (per recruiter), even though I completed and ran thru the code with an example! I was given a LC medium BFS problem. And they took 1 week to come to this decision! Any comments from #workday current or laid off employees? Did you try interviewing with your employer? Do you guys also find it hard? TC : 0 after laidoff #faang #google #amazon #microsoft #meta #paypal #square #intuit #indeed #zoom #workday #salesforce #twilio #dell #netapp
Meta and Amazon both prioritized laid off employees when a new req opened open over the past few months.
I found it hard, got many interviews internally but never got the job. Looks like there is something going on. Despite a recommendation from my manager, it did not go through
How did you perform in the interview? Are the questions they are asking LC medium/hard?
Likely that they found a better candidate bud! It sucks but good luck with your search. dm for any referral back
May be, but the recruiter told me I am the only internal candidate. So, someone thru to virtual onsite may be external. But I see the same job reposted again on LinkedIn this week.
DM me I’ll help as much as I can. I’m an m4.
