Do you know Airbnb removes negative reviews?
We now have to leave 4 or 5 star reviews with the negative information so people can know not to stay#airbnb
airbnb is useless, higher price and lower value than hotels
How do you know Airbnb deleted negative reviews for no reason? Maybe there's private information or some provocative wording.
I had my review deleted and it was a super host property and the experience was terrible and Airbnb deleted it for not being useful to the community and this place had all 5 star reviews all fake
Airbnb is trash. If i have to pay same as hotel for rent+ extras for cleaning and ontop of that clean the things myself when i leave… i will just get hotel
All accommodation booking websites do this. Try leaving a negative comment on Agoda or Booking.com. Hotels pay them to remove just like glass door reviews are mostly fake.
When I left a detailed review about safety issues AirBnB took it down and said something about the review not having helpful information for other guests. Helpful information was 100% what it was -- I would have wanted to know the reality of what I was getting into before booking
I did the same so how do we get around this do we leave 5 stars but put in bold do not stay here as I personally read the reviews I think that would help as they don’t remove 5 star reviews
Recently I gave up on Airbnb after terrible experiences with their platform. Arrived at some facilities that look completely different from the photos (airbnb not verifying the photos obviously) and the host is not responsive for broken aircon and fridge. The places have tons of great reviews as if it was all written by the host. Contacted airbnb but was not able to resolve anything. Ended up at a hotel at much cheaper rate and so much better.
Same here I paid 800 bucks and I feel ripped off
yeah it is ripped off, Airbnb is a middleman that does nothing helpful while hosts are becoming greedy

I had 100% satisfaction with Vrbo for over 12 years until this week. The host canceled the rental just before the vacation and relisted the property bumping price from $300 to $1000 per day
Airbnbs cost too much now, at least in Europe. They’re priced the same as hotels.
