Me and my girlfriend debate whether to leave a tip for a cup of coffee.
No! If I see an old broken car behind me in the line. I just pay their order.
Why does the person with an old broken car then come to Starbucks, when the same coffee can be prepared at home at 1/10th the cost?
That’s right - some folks have broke mentality. But it also could be they work hard at some place and just wants to stop by for a quick coffee or quick lunch.
I don’t tip or tip very little at places where I know they’re making decent hourly wages. I always tip at least 20% at restaurants where they rely on tips for their income. My gf used to work food and was a waitress for like a year.
Weird. I only tip in places where people make a livable wage. That way we can support livable wages.
Ironic, in assuming you work in HCOL where living wages are insanely out of reach for most people I’m in TX, our Starbucks workers make around twice our min wage, our waiters make min wage plus tips but you can’t love on min wage here The service industry doesn’t pay “livable” wages anywhere anymore
You guys still going to Starbucks? Ur basically admitting you support the genocide happening in Gaza right now
This ^^^
Sorry pleb I don’t go to Starbucks because I’m too big of a coffee snob. i brew the most 💎 exquisite 💎 pour over coffee at home which I bring up unsolicited in as many conversations as possible 👌 😌 😌
Can you feel the cat shit in the flavor?
I’m only on the regular coffee: washed, natural process, or fermented. No pre-digested beans for me
I’m a big tipper but I’m not tipping for something that takes 30 seconds to do. I don’t go to Starbucks often, but when I do, no tip for anything.
Why do people find the need to tip for everything? You are already buying a coffee at 10x it's cost and on top of that you want to tip. That's ridiculous!
Do you tip to Amazon delivery person ? If not, why Starbucks ?
I’m boycotting Starbucks because they support illegal occupation terrorists, genocide and war crimes.
I used to work in food service. I tip.
