yeah, absolutely. people are still fucking awful to the lgbt+ community for no reason other than the fact that they get aggressive when they don't understand something. There's nothing to hate, they have the right to live their life and love who they love
The problem starts when they start identity politics at the workplace. Specifically executives are guilty of promoting and practicing this rampantly. Itβs too cool not to practice it. Feminism and Pro LGBT slogans do not make the workplace conducive and accepting to women or LGBTs. Many of my LGBT friends are sick with the corporatization of this pride gravy train.

Neutral. Supportive of different lifestyles but not the pride parade. It's not sending the message of we're just like you and should have the same rights.
What message is it sending?
The message that others are getting is: "we're completely unlike you, we like to make others aware of our fetishes and sexualize things. Also, weed and beer, wooooo!!!" I was at the pride celebrations. The amount of debauchery and drugs astonished and saddened me. Those should be separate from the movement for LGBTQ+ rights.

Honestly, I wish there was MORE support for pride in SF. Lots of people here donβt like the gays and it makes me feel bad for people with such hatred in their brains.
Opinion of my friend: the gay community facilitates spreading diseases at a faster rate than would be without. look at the cesspool that is Austin. highest accelerating rate of HIV and bisexuals transfer it between homos and straights.
