Say you are negotiating and are asking for a salary bump to match the base salary of another offer. Do you have to tell the recruiter about the details of the alternate offer or can you abstain from sharing details such as company name, other forms of comp etc. I would be sharing salary of course, but nothing else. This is in NYC.
