Does Amazon hiring process still play "diversity" tunes?

I've got a few emails from Amazon recruiters recently. Wondering does it make sense to reply if I'm a white male? Does Amazon have diversity quotes?

SWMs are running the business. Easy there

If you aren’t Indian, they won’t hire you.

That is not an issue. That is a common thing now.

You hiring depends on a decision made in interview debrief. I’ve been at about 80 of those. Race is never brought up during that meeting.

Same observation here. Nobody cares about your race or gender. We’ve turned away enough people regardless of “diversity” because they interviewed poorly.

What kind of advantage do you think you can gain by mentioning your race/gender in the initial stage? If you are good enough to get to onsite everyone would see your race and gender. But like other said race and gender don’t play a role.

I don't want to get an "advantage". I don't want to get a "disadvantage" 😁

Thanks you all for restoring my faith in rational people.
