Amazon doesn't even offer you Amazon Basics on amazon. Com
Amazon? Benefits? Well well, talk to HR, you are gonna be fired due to frugality tenet. Lmao. Just leave that shithole and buy yourself a fancy chair as a gift. And you are welcome.
A discount at Herman Miller shouldn't cost them anything - it's free advertising for HM. I am being frugal..ish. I haven't bought my chair yet π
You shouldnβt be frugal to yourself, because your employer Amazon has done that to you already.
I belive there is a Herman Miller has corporate discounts (same for like bose and others) also if you're wfh then you can take your office chair home, it is a Herman Miller.
Don't buy Herman Miller, pay 2-300 for a good chair https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9Yhc6mmdJC4 Skip to about 18 minutes in
Ty for the video but I'm still aiming for the embody. I've tried it out in a show room and it's the only chair I've found that works really well for my body. I'm a a shorter, plus size person with huge hips and a small waist so most chairs just don't fit me. The embody is the only one I've found with enough adjustable parts to work.
No WFH benefits but yes you get a 30% discount on HM products (embody included)
Thanks!! This is what I wanted to know.
Depends if youβre someone who was hired for a remote role or intended to be office-based and being allowed to wfh due to COVID. If the latter then youβre allowed to expense I believe up to $500 for a chair/monitor/desk. If hired remote (Based on location in PhoneTool) youβre technically not allowed to expense anything from how I understand it.
Yes there is a 30% discount on Herman Miller
Found the new hire
Your manager has the right to demand the return of anything expensed by Amazon. Or so mine said.

π, jk depending on your org you can expense like 1k for wfh setup.
BS, the maximum reimbursement is $500 per item company wide. Otherwise, have to do a purchase order. Some orgs have a total maximum at $250 or less, and don't allow furniture.
Like you said max is $500 per item, that doesnβt mean you canβt expense a total of $1000+ lol.
