Does Deloitte do Internal Transfers to different country
I want to know if Deloitte can transfer people from USA to some other country internally in case of any visa issues or something and what is the procedure to initiate that transfer?
I agree you need to go through search and entire process of interviewing again even its internal transfer. Please start to check with your EL, as they have more visibility for any opportunity in same group. If it will be in same group then you might not need to go through search and interview process. But if it will be different group or MF then it will be same like new person applying to Deloitte. Only difference is paper work will be easy for HR if you are already with Deloitte.
I know a few people in the Canadian firm who transferred from the US firm after Trump.
It’s possible but it’s very difficult.
I worked in three different countries with Deloitte. Totally doable.
How to go about it? Connect with canadian Deloitte counterparts, give interviews or search for jobs directly on LinkedIn?
You will need to connect with your PPMD and their buy-in. If they agree they can help you connect and network at other Deloitte offices outside of the US. But at the end of the day you're doing your own search. I know a friend who transferred from us to Canada due to visa issues but he had to initiate the entire process himself..
