The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
“genius” at work
He’s lucky they didn’t ban the app
That's happening soon too
No because he has his head stuck up his ass
He doesn’t, because he is a dumbass and never stood for free speech at all.
@DoorDash, mind referring?
It’s that sweet free market at work… funny he’s upset I thought republicans were all about the free market.
Whinny little baby
Apple is restricting AirDrop in China amid protests as one of the few ways protesters can avoid censorship from firewalls and continue communication. Apple, at the same time, is pulling advertisement in response to the platform being opened up in the name of free speech and open discourse. Fucking awful look for Apple.
It's understandable, they've got to comply with the Chinese government or they'll lose their cash cow. They can't make their equipment anywhere else.
Tesla is bending over for China too, it's just billionaires and dictatorships doing what they do.
It's not free speech, free speech is for individuals. Companies don't even have it, they serve shareholders best interests. And if company makes a decision that will result in decrease of profits just because of their agenda, shareholders actually can take legal actions.
i would pay to witness the mental gymnastics it would take someone to claim apple pulling their ad spend from twitter will have a provable negative effect on their revenue lmao
Do you know anything about marketing? Lead generation? It's so surprising to see this statement from somebody actually working at Yelp. every click is traced, you can 100% tell where your lead generation came from. Why apple even invest in marketing and posting ads if they don't care? Do you know what marketing budget of company like Apple is?
I think it is a malpractice on behalf of Apple. As long as it is getting the cut of adv money, why should it block advertising? Meta faced the same problem. It's ridiculous.
Maybe they don't want their products to show up beside all the hateful stuff Musk is allowing on Twitter, that's bad for the Apple Brand. So shareholders will be happy with this decision.
What hateful stuff? Maybe truth about COVId, Hunter's laptop, etc?
Because, he is an entitled person.
