Does Hinge suck for anyone else?
Decently good looking guy here. I'm getting matched on Tinder, but absolutely not getting any likes on Hinge. It also looks like besides a few Instagram model types, it's all overweight people... Is this a dating app for overweight people, or am I just really ugly and unlovable? If it makes a difference, I'm in Seattle

Tinder uses Elo, Hinge uses Gale-Shapley algorithm. You get matches on Tinder if you like less people than like you. If you like a person on Tinder and they don't like you back "you lose". On Hidge it tries to match you with a person that is most identical to you. So apparently you are a hawt unicorn, congrats. Tinder is the most well known dating app. For people trying to find a date and not get a representation of how desirable they are its horrible, and it drives them off the platform. Thats going to be all the ugly folk usually. Followed by the women sick of fuckboys. Conclusion, set your preferences on Hidge to be more normal.
I get a few matches a day without any issue and they’re not overweight. You’re either ugly, boring, or both.
