Like if I have lots of experience with other languages like Ruby, would they not even bother with me?
No
When did python engineer becomes job title. Is remember days when we were all coder and programmer. Software engineer was so grandiose those day
Bro if triage engineer can be a title so can this.
Mainly curious because their descriptions mention Python specifically
You get hired through FB and the interviews don't care whether you a python engineer or not.
So if I want to work as an Instagram engineer in the SF office, which position should I apply to? All the Instagram jobs specifically want Python so I feel like I won't even get past the recruiter phase .
They’d be silly to not consider other experience. Python is not hard to pick up at all.
