If I had a competing offer from Meta or Amazon, would they match at least 90% of it? My target TC is 300k-350k, got offered at MSFT L62, 210k🤦 Current TC 0
L65 for that TC
Give it a try and let the community know!
How did you guys got the call from MSFT?? I have applied to some 25 positions using referral but no call yet. I have 4 years of experience rn.
Over applied you look desperate
Some people told to apply as my positions as possible.
Lol no they dont
Curious, you know because you tried?
Yea, for 61 - as a junior dev. With offers from Sony and Intuit they did not budge
Genuine qn: why do you want to go to msft over meta?
It is a better team, meta is internal tooling, MSFT is shipping AI models
Msft won't come close. I suggest meta, then switch teams 1 year in (required min time in first team)
in 2020 i joined msft as a 62 and my tc was 220 in mcol location, so my friend you are being balled like a bowling alley
🤦 that's what I thought
i got laid off last year and thought my TC would go south from here but unusually even samsung paid me 30-40k more than my msft latest pay. shows you how much low msft pays
Microsoft is pretty infamous for 🥜 TC. Not sure why anyone would go there.
I know their offers are low, but I wondered if they would match a higher offer
Nope too many great candidates in the market. They will move on to the next best.
That's probably their strategy considering they only want to give me 3 days to decide, lol. Since when did Microsoft become so predatory
No
