Yes layoff is common here. 2 weeks back only I seen some person posted that he was fired because manager didn't liked him Blind rating is 3.3, which is very less. You can understand how is scene there

It depends on the team, manager and org. I’ve had a good experience and TC while I’ve been here but I guarantee it’s not the case for everyone. I have a top notch manager who feeds me relevant work and ok WLB. Make sure you vet who you’re working for
My partner worked at Oracle decades ago - it routinely had lay offs then and still does. The other striking thing about Oracle is the lack of pay raises and stock refreshers. Getting on the right team is everything.

Oracle sucks. I remember once I had to get some old OBIEE server up. The damn documentation was behind a paywall…it took me like 3 times longer than it would have if they were just transparent about their products.
