I have an onsite with google in california I just want to know if they reimburse for uber and food?
Less frugal than Facebook. I did onsite for both. Facebook wanted to track every dollar I spent and even rejected my reimbursement because I attached screenshot from credit card vs actual receipt. Google is chill as long as you don’t abuse it blatantly
When I went onsite to FB, the hotel I was staying at offered a lame breakfast (on FBs dime). However if you wanted bacon or sausages with your breakfast, that wasn't covered in the buffet that FB had negotiated with the hotel so you had to pay out of pocket for it. Of course you could still expense it to your per diem but that was one of the most surprising experiences I've had for interviews.
Same experience. The credit card screenshot was for eggs I ordered and they did not give me a receipt for it (and I forgot to ask). Meh it was $5 but come on Fb
This question should be banned. Google is the mother of reimbursing everything as long it’s within reasonable limits. I was confused initially why one would ask such a question but then I looked at ur company handle.
Lol some burn there
Yes they will reimburse Uber and food. Check the provided documentation for the limits.
Yes they do. But there are upper limits on how much you can spend.
They did for my friend, her Uber ride was an hour drive one way.
Well, they dont have frugal principle
haha Thanks btw amazon gives $75 per day for food regardless they are frugal af I don’t deny that
No matter what they say, they don't pay. Been 5 months since my interview.
