I am going to be starting at DoorDash soon (ops role L4 equivalent), and wanted to see if someone could explain how the perf process works and if/how that relates to bonuses. I got all the comp details and forgot to ask about perf/ bonuses.
There’s no perf bonus lol I got a 1% bump in my salary. If you get promoted you may get a 10k increase in base and I think max of $100k RSUs if top performer. A lot of companies have the 10-15% annual bonus but DoorDash does not
So perf is just tells you how you’re doing and there’s no financial incentive... interesting. I got a 1.75 on my last perf, so I will be sad to lose that nice bonus next year. Are there equity refreshes? And really only a 10k bump in base for a promotion? That seems low. Glad I negotiated for a higher salary haha
