DoorDash vs Microsoft New Grad Offers

Which offer would you take? I’ve received some new grad offers recently and I’ve narrowed it down to these two. Microsoft (Azure Networking): 128k base, 100k stock 4 yr 25/25/25/25, 25k sign on bonus - Full Remote DoorDash (Generalist): 135k base, 100k stock 4 yr front loaded 40/30/20/10 - Hybrid SF I think I can probably negotiate the Microsoft stock and bonus a bit higher but DoorDash is not allowing negotiations. I’m still a little confused on how much stock refreshers should be expected at DD. My priorities are just to learn and have a strong resume for my first job, TC is nice as well, hybrid vs remote is not a huge factor for me. Current TC: 0 #doordash #microsoft #swe #compensation #azure

Microsoft for the remote

DoorDash: faster growing, younger, in person in SF = definitely better for learning. You'll be stuck with a bunch of middle aged coasters at Microsoft.

DoorDash for growth, Microsoft to retire

Hybrid would be better for a new grad to get unstuck

You would learn more at DoorDash (because it’s earlier stage), but your resume would look better with Azure.

Pick door dash for learning in early stages of career

Have heard azure networking is hell hole

I don’t understand how they can say they aren’t allowing negotiations. Negotiate a sign on bonus with DD and go with them.

Microsoft pGQs62 Mar 25

You’re not going to learn as much here as at DoorDash, and with so many internal systems a large portion of what you learn isn’t going to be directly applicable to other places. Granted remote is nice and it’s probably more stable than DD.

You can learn a ton as a new grad at DD. Which team?

It’s general so I can basically choose from which team has openings
