Got a phone interview for DD recently. Did not pass. Interviewer started out cold and disinterested. Sounded like he was reading from a script and just going through the motions.
Not surprised. Mine was the same. They look at your resume and if you aren’t a “bro” they just wouldn’t be interested even in talking to you. Possibly the most unprofessional experience I’ve had.
So it was mostly behavioral for you? My recruiter told me I will be asked product sense and prioritize questions
Doordash has a surprisingly strong PM team ( at least the original few folks - May have expanded and not sure if the bar now). Their sense and pri interview is pretty standard (eg see Facebook sense and pri) make sure to focus on marketplace and marketplace metrics

Just had my DD phone screen with a Lead PM from their Bundling division. Questions were about other marketplace. Started with product prioritization, root cause analysis of a pain point and followed by product sense. I ran out of time for product sense. Interviewer asked a lot of questions for my rationale throughout my rationale.
Do you mind sharing which marketplace? And also provide more details on product prioritization and root cause analysis?

The questions are for the first round: (1) how would you improve the worst customer experience for open table? (2) what’s your favorite music app? How would you improve it?
These were the exact questions I got asked as well. Managed to clear the first round.
