Expecting an offer from Doordash. Want to ask Doordash employees what is the internal blind sentiment right now? Is it career suicide to join? I know no one knows whether layoffs are happening until 1 day before but is that a possibility? What are the VP/directors saying? Tc: 400k

Offer at what level?
Suggest to connect with authentic people on LinkedIn rather than relying on blind opinion which is extremely biased. I picked DoorDash over other offers that I had since I had great conversations with people at the company. What are you looking for in your next role? If it’s growth then DD is the place. If rest and vest then stay. Also, level and new TC?
How come you're still snooping in apple lounge? Tells you of the calibre and integrity of people that join
I joined very recently. I don’t think changing my blind handle is on the list of my priorities right now.

There is risk, but with risk comes reward. Stock has pretty much bottomed, so you’ll be getting in at a really good time. M-team has ambitious goals, even if we execute only some of those well, the company will get significantly bigger than it is today.
M as in merchant team?

Most people are pissed after joining and losing 70% of their stock income I’m one of them. Besides that it’s a pretty good company, but we need better leaders and tech leads who know what they’re doing. Right now our leaders are more interested in the role of being a leader than the outcome of being a leader.
