Yes
Anyone know job types affected? One of my former teammates just joined their product org
No job type was safe from what I’ve seen
Read that it was 300-500 engineers from someone on blind
Yes - It’s in the WSJ.
Crap
Had my DS on-site, got cancelled as well
Which team are you interviewing?
Analytics (growth)
Sorry to anyone effected please reach out if I can help you talk through this time. I have been through layoffs several time in the past

What’s surprise in that . I thought they may be the first one laying off
Exactly. Highest gas price, 40 year high inflation, who the h still have money to order food on this inflated-price app
Probably since multiple DD employees over the last weeks saying how DD had so much cash, the morale was positive, and there’s no chance of layoffs. But yeah, seemed to be coming.
is Uber next?

>While our business continues to grow fast, given how quickly we hired, our operating expenses – if left unabated – would continue to outgrow our revenue. Reads weird, like how you'd justify a freeze not a layoff. A dogwhistle for investors?
