Hello all, I have a virtual onsite interview coming up at Doordash. Could anyone who has done onsite rounds at Doordash tell me what the rounds look like. What to expect in the two coding rounds? What to expect in domain knowledge round? Thanks in advance. #engineering #software #swe #Interview
Is the refactor round still there in process? I don't see in my interview schedule. Its just 2 coding rounds.

The coding rounds are algorithm based, just standard leetcode stuff. Domain knowledge is done together with systems design, you’ll be asked to describe a project you’ve done in detail and systems design is a hypothetical exercise where you’re asked to build a system to do X. There’s a values round, where you’ll be asked to recall instances where you have done X. And usually you have a lunch or informal chat with a hiring manager to discuss any questions or your interests. Good luck!
Thanks a lot. What’s the refactoring coding round I keep hearing about? Any tips for this round
Refactor round is where they give you a partial / buggy code snippet and ask you to fix a bug and then add some new functionality. I think that’s on low rotation or maybe even deprecated now, there’s a relatively low chance of you getting that.
