Downlevel move Meta to Netflix
One of my mentees is thinking about moving over to Netflix. A newly promoted E5 so the comp is low and they are getting an L4 offer from Netflix with an all cash offer. I am not sure what the negatives would be other than a downlevel but with a higher TC does it matter? I asked why not L5 and the response was the position was L4 and that passing the interview would be easier then going for promo.
Worth it because similar pay or more pay with less responsibilities. Also netflix is a better company i would say.

Yo. I would refer you but Twilio has closed all SWE positions and possibly other positions as well until further notice. Theres only a handful of job postings left on the site.
Stay in meta. Optimizing for TC, in itself, not the right thing. Moving around teams and orgs is much easier in meta than netflix. E6 in Meta also easier than E6 at Netflix. Move after E6 promo to maximize all aspects is my advice.

Probably 300-350
