Expect little to no hiring for most of the year. They will do backfills, maybe.
Directors have said they will be continuing to hire and kind of stated they will replace some laid off engineers with "better fits"

Good assumption. I was let go and had a pretty solid package and hired last year. Can’t really say much beyond that due to severance package clauses but seems like a lot of the extra fat was cut off.
were the layoffs just in the US?
