Support local businesses, because they know Amazon won't feed you for free. Google RTO: businesses yawn. #amazon
Small businesses need this badly. They don’t have billions in cash and are mostly small family operations. Either Amazon should have done full remote and given the office space to someone else willing to have people or convert to residential area or get people back. It’s waste of prime real estate to have empty buildings every day
Not many small businesses around Amazon HQ. Pretty corporate and cold area
The "small business need this" excuse is pretty flimsy. They have no problem stealing from the less fortunate but when it affects them, they go hide by the small business shield. IE: when school lunch was first introduced to feed poor family's kids. Small business owners lobby against it, siting it would lead to less purchase from their shop. They would rather poor kids starve than missing making a buck. When COVID comes they have no problem acting like big business firing all the staff. When lockdown lifted, they complained all these low wage workers won't come back begging for their minimum wage job, while they themselves won't lift a finger to do the worker's work.
Thanks Amazonians for your sacrifice! 🫡
Small businesses are the worst. They charge a lot. I just hate them.
Who is going to support small businesses around my house? Who is going to buy “extra” from grocery stores? Stupid excuses.
Does anyone remember the head tax that city of Seattle wanted to implement for large corporations?
Traffic has been absolutely awful this week with Amazon RTO 🥺
And uptown Seattle dies as local businesses die out again. You either support the community you live in or be forced to commute and support a community which you don't associate with.
