I remember Meta crashing to $80 a year ago due to a couple things. On Blind, this is what people said * TikTok will eat Meta’s lunch * Lawsuits * Facebook is no longer used by younger gen * Reality Labs with 0 revenue but 6 billion loss * WhatsApp 0 revenue Due to the above reasons, I did not buy. Meta is sitting at $500 now, similar rise to nvidia Google is down these days due to * OpenAI will eat Google’s lunch * Lawsuits * Cloud’s growth is 30% yoy, similar to Azure with much bigger size * Wokeism I am not sure if Google will be back and thrive but I was wondering, how did Meta come back? What happened in the financial sheets that were not anticipated?
Does Google have a good leader? Nope 👎🏼 Google is no Intel, no Nvidia, no Meta.
Facebook's PE at the bottom was 8. Google's is about 20 now. Best case scenario Google goes up 100% from here (or 70% from where it was 3 weeks ago)
Fire Sundar! Make sure to ship your projects bug free as much as possible Stock market will say hello Google welcome to 2t
its by far not the same , Zuck created meta and his meta survived fierce competition and battle of life and death and succeeded , while Pichai climbed up by boasting and networking , they are not at the same . Google is going down for sure
Yep it’s over. Now my mom only use ChatGPT.
It was trading at multiple of 11-16 which was below market and really cheap, now it trades at 33 multiple which above market. Just because a stock is trading below market multiple doesn’t mean it’s a good investment though. $500 is a combination of sentiment + revenue growth from ads + efficiency via cost cutting. Hard to predict if Google can change sentiment + show revenue growth esp with a strong narrative ard AI.
Meta was saved by Chinese companies AD spending like Temu
Waiting for 1-2 dips then bugging Goog
So your theory is right and I am positive on google in long run. One major problem though, you might have noticed companies like Meta and NVDA pivots very fast when needed, I highly doubt that about Google
Google is too slow, they’re severely missing the mark on AI what should be the easiest layup for them. They need new leadership fast.
Meta made a major surge alongside a bunch of other tech companies - including google. so unless you can predict the broader tech industry also, you're probably going to guess wrong
