What % of pre tax income should I be prepared to pay? Don’t want to live in a ghetto or commute for more than 30-40min to the office. YOE 3 months TC 70k base ~100k total (in euros) #housing
Don't know Dublin but general advice is not above 30% but obviously depends on the local market. Did you get 120k$ in RSU's? Or are you in sales, just curious how it works in European offices.
You mean 30% of pre or after tax? Might be difficult in Dublin since we get paid 🥜 compared to the US but rent is still crazy. I got less. Divided RSUs by 4 and signing/relocation bonuses by 2 years as that’s the usual timeline for first promo and I plan to relocate back to my home country after that.
30% pre tax
I pay 1600 for 2 bed in chapelizod like 4 km from office
Can you refer me in your company?
I am searching for a tenant for my ensuit room. 30 min to the city center by public transport and 15-20 min drive from my house. Let me know if you are interested.
Are you getting 70k base in Dublin as a first job and have 3 months of experience ? That is amazing TC

2000 to 3000 euros on average if you don’t share.
What percentage is it of inhand income ?
So I suppose 3000€ for a 2 bedroom in a nice area isn’t that bad given that I have a flatmate?
