EB-1C Abuse
Is EB-1C commonly abused within tech by allowing line level "managers" to get green cards faster?
Cognizant brings thousands of "international managers" each year this way. It is infact one of the major reasons why the backlog never moves forward and there's a backlog even for eb1 now
I thought eb1 was only for models like Melania trump?

They should separate the quotas for eb1-c and eb1-a. There are many outstanding applicants in eb1-a who are stuck in the process because of this.
You just need “Manager” in the title and should have had that title in another country. That’s it. Your green card will be filed in EB1. Yeah. That is why a PhD from Stanford will have to wait for 6 years before getting green card through EB1.
If they would stop the EB1C, the dates would be always current for the category.
PhD from Stanford does not guarantee EB1b approval but chances are really high.
It should be stopped immediately
Def yes by Indian consultancies. Tcs infosys etc do abuse them.
